ARTHOUSE AT JONES CENTER – AUSTIN, TX

Hoy quiero presentaros un gran descubrimiento.... the Arthouse at Jones Center.

Se trata de  la renovación y remodelación de un espacio artístico existente. El equipo de arquitectura  LTL  Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis   trató en 2010 de potenciar la gran acumulación de historia en el edificio consiguiendo de un modo exitoso,  ampliar y adaptar los espacios  al nuevo programa  y ,además , extender y conectar  visualmente el propio edificio y el Arte, con  su entorno urbano próximo.

Me gusta especialmente el diseño interior del nuevo edificio, junto con los pequeños salientes -ventanas de cristal verdes en el exterior: Le da carácter al edifico ; Además me fascina la  forma en que han diseñado el logotipo frontal... es impresionante! han Han hecho un  fantástico  trabajo creando un aspecto completamente moderno, casi futurista!

 Esta remodelación ha recibido numerosos premios en  Nueva York ,  destacando  el diseño de iluminación  a cargo de LumenArch , empresa que  instaló los  177 LED dentro de  bloques rectangulares de vidrio laminado que perforan las paredes sur y este del edificio , creando el efecto luminoso.

Today I want to introduce you a huge discovery .... the Arthouse at the Jones Center.

This is a renovation and remodeling of an existing artistic space.

The architecture team LTL Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis tried in 2010 to enhance the large accumulation of history in the building getting in a successful, expand and adapt to the new program spaces and also extending and visually connecting the building itself and the Art, with its urban environment next.

I especially like the interior design of the new building, along with small protrusions green-glass windows on the outside: It gives character to the building; I also love the way they've designed the logo front ... is awesome! They have done a fantastic job of creating a completely modern, almost futuristic building!

This remodeling has received numerous awards in New York, noting lighting design by LumenArch, company that installed the 177 LED within rectangular blocks of laminated glass piercing the south and east walls of the building, creating the lighting effect.
