FOTOGRAFÍA: Estación de Logroño de Ábalos-Sentkiewicz

Del estudio "Abalos-Sentkiewicz” traigo aquí hoy la nueva estación de Logroño, ganadora del concurso al respecto.

El proyecto de los arquitectos contempla no solo la estación ferroviaria,  ya en funcionamiento, sino la estación de autobuses, situada frente a esta. Ambas desarrollan un interesante conjunto intermodal tren-autobus que una vez terminado facilitará los enlaces entre ambos medios de transporte. La propuesta engloba un gran parque público que restablece la conectividad entre ambas partes de la ciudad, hoy unidas gracias al soterramiento del ferrocarril.

Lo más sorprendente, sus techos craquelados, que se encuentran tanto en el vestíbulo principal como en los andenes, configurando un espacio de tonos cambiantes en funcion de la incidencia de la abundante iluminación natural que entra por sus fachadas.

La mejor forma de acertar con la luz correcta de tus fotos es utilizar la técnica del BKT o braketing, consistente en disparar tres tomas seguidas, de las cuales la primera será la que crees que está mejor, pero en la segunda y tercera la propia cámara las realizará un poco mas clara y un poco mas oscura con respecto a la primera, y asi  poder luego seleccionar la que os parezca más acertada.

From the "Abalos-Sentkiewicz" studio  I am delighted to show and bring to you Logroño´s new railway station, winner of the competition.

The architects´ project includes not only the station, already functioning, but also a bus station, placed opposite to the main building. Both of them are an interesting (intermodal) set, that will provide the links between the two kinds of transport when completed. The project also includes a large public park that restores connectivity between both sides of the city, today linked by the underground railroad.

The most surprising details are the crackle roofs, which are found both in the main hall and on the platforms; they set a space with changing tones which will vary depending on the natural light that enters through its facades.

The best way to get in the right light in your photos is to use the BKT technique or  braketing; this consists of firing three shots in a row, of which, the first tends to be the one the photographer thinks is best, but in the second and third shots, the camera will come up with two more picures, one that is lighter and one that is darker. It is up to the photographer to select the one that looks right.
